Acceptable Use Policy
Skryp is for reading the web lawfully. This policy is part of the Terms of Service; it says what that means in practice.
In force from 2 October 2026
You are responsible for what you collect
You choose the pages, the data and what you do with it. Make sure you may: the laws that apply to you and to the data (including laws on personal information, copyright and computer misuse), and the terms of any site or account that bind you.
Do not use Skryp to
- Get into accounts, systems or content you are not allowed to access, or use a saved login for an account that is not yours or that you may not automate.
- Collect personal information without a lawful reason; build profiles of people to track, harass, discriminate against or expose them; or collect special personal information, such as health or biometric data, unless the law allows it.
- Send a site more requests than it can comfortably serve, or get around the limits we set per plan, for example with several accounts.
- Attack anyone: password guessing, credential stuffing, card testing, vulnerability scanning without permission, or attempts to take a site down.
- Commit or help fraud, spam, phishing, fake reviews or fake engagement.
- Collect, store or share child sexual abuse material, or any content that is illegal to possess. We report such material to the authorities.
- Copy and republish content in a way that infringes someone’s copyright or other rights.
- Resell or share access to Skryp itself, or share API keys outside your organisation, without our written agreement.
- Interfere with Skryp: probe or overload it, get around its billing or limits, or use it to reach networks we have not opened to customers.
What we do about misuse
We may refuse requests, revoke keys, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy, as the Terms of Service describe. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Report misuse
If you think Skryp is being used against your site or against you, email support@skryp.dev with what happened, when, and any request details you have (address, time, IP address). We look into every report.
